What a great teacher! He taught me algebra back in the early 90's in England. He would go to any length to ensure that we all understood how to solve the problems and even if that meant staying after class. His style of teaching set the standard! Thank you Mr. Nutt!Posted by: Ryan Pottle Oct 10, 2012
Mr. Nutt was my math teacher for 7th and 8th grade at Greenham Common High School in England and still tutored me when I took AlgebraI my Freshman year. To this day I share the first thing he said to us on that first day of class, "I bet you never thought you'd have a Nutt for a teacher." We all laughed and I actually didn't hate math class. I still talk about the tricks he did in class and
Mr. Nutt was my math teacher in 7th grade. I finally understood math because of him! We all loved him as a teacher. My friends and I get together once a year and we still talk about him. Even though it has been 40 plus years since he taught me , I think of him often. He was my teacher at Trice in Pine Bluff. He touched many lives and will be missed. God bless you all.Posted by: Myra Glover Crutchfield - Sheridan, AR - former student Dec 21, 2011
I was saddened to read in the paper of Mr. Nutt's passing. I was one of his students many years ago at Trice Junior High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I remember him as a fine man and a wonderful teacher. My condolences go out to the family.Posted by: Elizabeth Love Hoover - Maumelle, AR - former student Dec 21, 2011
